Fruit Jam or Jelly

This is a request of my son’s.  He even made it with blueberries.


1 lemon zested and juiced

2 cups sugar

Your fruit of choice.


Add zest, lemon juice, and sugar to a small sauce pan on low heat.  Cook until sugar dissolves. Add fruit and cook for about 20 minutes.


I have used strawberries, pineapple, blackberries, and my son successfully attempted blueberries.  Just about any fruit will work just fine.  Some will have more flavor than others.  Experiment.  Enjoy.
