Easy Jambalaya


2 cups rice

4 1/2 cups water

bouillon cubes according to instructions

3+ tbsp cajun seasoning

1 bell pepper or 2 halves of other colors

diced onion to taste

1 jalapeno(optional)

red pepper(cayenne) also optional

red pepper flakes(optional)

meat of choice already cooked or browned



Boil water, add cubes, Cajun seasoning, onion, bell pepper, red pepper, pepper flakes.  Optionally, you can sauté onions and bell peppers while water is boiling.

Cook your meat of choice while rice is cooking.

When rice is done cooking, add meat and onion and bell peppers.  Mix and enjoy.
